How does DrawLuma choose a winner?
Each draw starts with fresh random bytes from your browser’s cryptographic random generator. Every entry has the same chance. Multiple winners are selected without choosing the same entry twice. Duplicate names are separate entries.
Do all the draw styles give the same chance?
Yes. The style changes how the result is revealed. The selection method stays the same, and the animation finishes on the selected winner. Team draws shuffle everyone into groups whose sizes differ by at most one.
Can I check a result later?
Download the receipt from a result, then use “Verify a receipt” below. It replays the stored seed and settings and checks the recorded outcome. A receipt does not prove who ran a draw or whether other draws were made.
Where are my names and results saved?
Active names, custom labels, and results stay in page memory and clear on refresh or when the page session ends. You can explicitly save a name list in this browser and load it later using Device-only list. It is never restored automatically. Download results or receipts you want to keep; receipts include participant names.
